Leadership unchanged at separate and public school boards

The leadership of the St. Clair Catholic District School Board (SCCDSB) will remain unchanged in 2022.

During Tuesday night's school board meeting, John Van Heck was acclaimed to the position of chair, a position he has held since 2016.

Mat Roop is staying on as vice chair for his fourth term.

At the Lambton Kent District School Board (LKDSB), trustees reelected Randy Campbell as chair Tuesday night.

Campbell, who has been a board trustee since 2006, has held the position since 2020.

Derek Robertson will serve his second term as vice chair.

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
