Police make several arrests on outstanding warrants for failing to attend court 

Chatham-Kent police caught up to three men on Saturday who were all wanted on separate warrants for failing to attend court.

The men include a 21-year-old and a 56-year-old from Chatham, and a 27-year-old from Tilbury.

Police said they were taken to police headquarters and held for bail.

Woman charged with impaired driving after refusing to take breath sample 

A 47-year-old Chatham woman spent some time sobering up in a cell this weekend after she was caught driving drunk.

Police said the woman was taken to the station for breath tests where she refused to provide a proper sample.

The woman has been charged with impaired driving and failing to comply with demand.

She was released with a future court date on January 4, 2022.

New military crosswalk in Sarnia to be unveiled

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
