Chatham-Kent police said they arrested the man after they responded to a disturbance call at a residence in Chatham Wednesday night, adding that the 32-year-old Chatham man who was stabbed and the man who allegedly attacked him both know each other.

Officers said the incident started as a verbal argument before things got physical, adding that a woman in the home was also threatened.
