OPP said the westbound lanes of the highway were closed at the Hwy 40/Communication Road exit (Interchange 90) just before 6 a.m. Friday, but it re-opened to traffic just after 6:30 a.m.
People in southern Huron and Lambton counties are being told to limit their time outside.
