UPDATE: Crews battle large barn fire in Blenheim

Damage is estimated at around $200,000 after a fire tore through a barn in Blenheim on Sunday night.

Officials with Chatham-Kent Fire and Emergency Services said crews from Blenheim, North Harwich and Ridgetown were called to a structure fire just before 11 p.m. on Mull Road near Knights Line.

Upon arrival, firefighters reported a fully involved barn fire with contents inside.

"A defensive attack was established. Water supply was provided by a tanker shuttle and crews dealt with icy conditions while fighting the fire," said CK Fire Public Educator Whitney Burk. "Firefighters extinguished the blaze and the property was turned back to the owner."

No one was injured in the blaze. According to Burk, the cause is listed as undetermined.
