Crash claims Blenheim man's life

Chatham-Kent police are still investigating after a 65-year-old Blenheim man died in a single vehicle crash on Dillon Road.

Police said emergency crews were called to the scene near Fifth Line at around 8 a.m. Wednesday.

Officers said their investigation showed that a vehicle had been heading south on Dillon Road when the driver failed to complete a right hand turn onto Fifth Line.

Police said the vehicle went off the road and into a nearby ditch.

A 65-year-old Blenheim man was pronounced dead at the scene and the Traffic Unit is taking the lead in the investigation.

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
