Snowy roads prompt more bus cancellations in CK

School bus routes across Chatham-Kent are being cancelled for the second straight day.

Buses in zones 1-8 have been cancelled for Thursday.

As per the LKDSB’s inclement weather-related bus cancellation policy, elementary schools will remain open for in-person learning on bus cancellation days, but all secondary school students attending schools affected by the school bus cancellations will engage in remote, teacher-let virtual learning and the secondary schools will be closed to students for in-person learning.

All busses that service Chatham Christian School are cancelled today and the school is also closed for the day.

Transportation is canceled today for schools in the local French Catholic board. CSC Providence schools are still open for the day.

Environment Canada cancelled its winter storm warning for the region overnight on Wednesday, but a winter weather travel advisory is still in effect.
