LPH records 30 new COVID cases

In its daily update Sunday, Lambton Public Health reported 30 new lab-confirmed cases of COVID-19.

There were 27 cases deemed resolved bringing the number of known active cases of the virus to 152, up three since Saturday.

There are three active outbreaks in the community, down one.

There have been 9,637 confirmed cases of COVID-19 in Sarnia-Lambton since the pandemic began in March 2020,  9,361 resolved cases and 124 deaths.

There are nine COVID-positive patients at Bluewater Health, up one from Saturday, none of them are in intensive care.

New military crosswalk in Sarnia to be unveiled

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
