Queen Elizabeth II tests positive for COVID-19

Britain's Queen Elizabeth has tested positive for COVID-19, Buckingham Palace announced on Sunday.

In a statement, the palace said the British monarch is experiencing “mild cold-like symptoms” and will continue with “light duties.”

“She will continue to receive medical attention and will follow all the appropriate guidelines,” it added.

Elizabeth, the U.K.’s longest-reigning monarch, celebrated the 70th anniversary of her accession to the British throne in early February.
