Lawnmower stolen in Chatham

Chatham-Kent police are asking for the public's assistance in locating a lawnmower that was stolen out of a garage from a residence in Chatham.

The total value of the theft has been estimated at $250.

Police make several arrests for outstanding warrants 

On Saturday, police arrested a 36-year-old man of no fixed address, who was wanted on an outstanding warrant, in the area of Patteson Avenue in Chatham.

Later that day, police located a 25-year-old man from Walpole Island in Wallaceburg who was wanted for theft of a motor vehicle and possession of property obtained by crime. He was arrested and held in custody pending a bail hearing.

On Sunday, police arrested a 36-year-old Wallaceburg man, who was wanted for theft and possession of property obtained by crime, in the area of Forhan Street in Wallaceburg. He was arrested and released with a future court date.

New military crosswalk in Sarnia to be unveiled

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
