UPDATE: Truck driver taken to hospital after rollover near Highway 401

A truck driver was taken to the hospital with minor injuries after a rollover in Chatham Tuesday afternoon.

Chatham-Kent OPP responded to the single-vehicle rollover on the Bloomfield Road on-ramp to the westbound lanes of the 401 around 12:47 p.m.

OPP West Regional Media Relations Coordinator Derek Rogers said the driver sustained minor injuries and was taken to the hospital as a precaution.

Traffic continued to flow on the on-ramp while the collision was investigated. The ramp reopened just after 1:30 p.m. and the scene has since been cleared.

The OPP remained on the scene for a little over an hour.

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
