UPDATE: Three dead in fiery crash in Leamington

The Ontario Provincial Police is investigating after a fiery crash on Mersea Road 8 in Leamington that killed three people Sunday night.

Just before 8 p.m., a vehicle left the road, hit a bridge embankment, and caught fire.

Police said they found three bodies inside the vehicle.

A section of Mersea Road 8 between Kent Road 1 and County Road 37 was closed for several hours but re-opened just before 6 a.m. Monday.

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
