COVID-19 Vaccine Call Centre closed

Lambton Public Health has closed its COVID-19 Vaccine Call Centre.

The line was disconnected Thursday as the COVID-19 situation in the community continues to improve.

"Due to high vaccination rates and continued adherence to public health safety measures, the demand for the COVID-19 Vaccine Call Centre has diminished," read a release from the health unit. "As we transition towards our next normal and move through Ontario’s Reopening plan, we expect this demand to further decrease."

Those with questions can call the health unit's main phone line Monday through Friday from 8:30 a.m. until 4:30 p.m. at (519) 383-8331 (toll-free at 1-800-667-1839).

Details about upcoming vaccine clinics can be found on GetTheVaccine.ca.
