Fatal ATV crash at Walpole Island

Lambton OPP responded to a fatal ATV crash at Walpole Island Sunday night.

First responders were called to an area near Squirrel Island Road at around 10:15 p.m.

Police said the driver and lone occupant of the vehicle was pronounced dead at the scene. The identity of the driver was being withheld pending notification of next-of-kin.

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
