Chatham man dies in ATV crash

A Chatham man is dead following an All-Terrain Vehicle (ATV) crash this weekend.

Police said a single ATV crashed on Darrell Line between St. Clair Road and Prince Albert Road in Chatham Township on Saturday night.

Investigators said the driver, 33-year-old Eric Louzon,  of Chatham lost control of the vehicle and was ejected. He was taken to the hospital but succumbed to his injuries.

"Members of the Chatham-Kent Police Service (CKPS) offer their deepest condolences to the family and friends of Mr. Louzon," said CKPS.

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
