Chatham-Kent police investigating shooting

Chatham-Kent police are investigating a shooting in Chatham.

Investigators said it took place on Lorne Avenue in Chatham at approximately 12:05 a.m. on Wednesday.

Police believe this was a targeted incident and there is no threat to public safety.

No injuries were reported.

The Major Crime Unit is investigating.

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
