CBSA resumes service at Pelee Island and Chatham airports

The Canada Border Service Agency resumes service at the Pelee Island Airport Monday.

The agency announced it would gradually resume border services at 47 small airports across Canada. Services were discontinued during the COVID-19 pandemic.

The hours of service at the Pelee Island Airport during the spring and summer are 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. Monday to Thursday and Saturday. On Fridays and Sundays, it's 8 a.m. to 11 p.m. and 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. seven days a week during the winter.

Services at the Chatham Airport will resume with telephone reporting.

Travellers need to complete their mandatory ArriveCAN submission within 72 hours of arrival.

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
