LPH reports 10 COVID cases, one death

The average daily number of COVID-19 cases in Sarnia-Lambton has dropped.

In its update Wednesday, Lambton Public Health reported an average of 14 confirmed cases over the last seven days, down from 20 a week ago.

The health unit reported 10 more confirmed cases since Monday, and one more death, for a total of 146 since the start of the pandemic. The latest death was an individual in their 50s who died in hospital.

There are three active outbreaks and Bluewater Health has nine COVID-positive patients in hospital.

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
