UPDATE: Mobile home fire south of Chatham

Damage is estimated at $350,000 after a fire at a mobile home park just south of Chatham.

Firefighters from Station #15, Raleigh North were called to a structure fire in Southside Estates at 6:15 p.m. on Tuesday.

Crews arrived to find visible flames and heavy smoke coming from the mobile home.

Firefighters from Station #1 Chatham and Station #12 Harwich North were called in and the fire was brought under control.

No injuries were reported, however, there was some heat damage to four other units that were nearby.

The cause is listed as accidental.

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
