Daily average COVID case count at 14

Lambton Public Health reported just under 50 new cases of COVID-19 in its latest update.

The health unit reported 48 lab confirmed cases since Wednesday, for a total of 11,754 since the start of the pandemic.

The death toll is unchanged at 146 and the average number of daily cases in the last seven days stands at 14.

There are three congregate living settings in Sarnia-Lambton dealing with active outbreaks of the virus.

There are six COVID-positive patients at Bluewater Health.

New military crosswalk in Sarnia to be unveiled

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
