Stormy end to the weekend

Environment Canada has issued a special weather statement for parts of southern Ontario Sunday evening.

Sarnia, Western Lambton County, Chatham-Kent, Leamington, and Windsor-Essex should expect isolated thunderstorms which could include wind gusts up to 80 kilometres an hour and pea-sized hail.

The weather agency said that the thunderstorms have developed over Lower Michigan and will move into the region throughout the evening.

New military crosswalk in Sarnia to be unveiled

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
