The lights should be back on for a majority of residents in Tilbury after a large power outage on Thursday.
Entegrus reported an outage affecting about 1,600 customers in Tilbury on Thursday morning.
It was first reported on Twitter at around 11:30 a.m. and the utility provider said the outage was caused by a pole fire.
According to Entegrus, a pole needs to be replaced on Young Street.
By 1:30 p.m., Entegrus reported that power was restored to all but 12 customers. The remaining customers will be without power until pole and equipment repairs are completed.
