Police charge man found walking with stolen kayaks 

A Wallaceburg man is facing charges after he was found lugging two stolen kayaks along Murray Street Saturday night.

Police said the man was also on a court condition that also bound him to be within his residence between the hours of 10 p.m. and 6 a.m.

The man was arrested and brought to police headquarters where he was charged with theft and possession as well as a bail violation.

He was held for bail.

Police investigate break and enter in Blenheim 

Chatham-Kent police are investigating after approximately $3,000 worth of items were stolen from a storage unit at Store and Save in Blenheim.

Police said items such as a table saw and drill press were stolen sometime before or around May 11.

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
