Two people wanted by Chatham-Kent police arrested in Lambton County

The law has come calling for a man and a woman who were both wanted by Chatham-Kent police.

Ontario Provincial Police in Lambton County contacted CK police just before 10:30 a.m. Monday to let them know they had two individuals in custody who were wanted by police in Chatham-Kent.

One of the accused -- a 44-year-old Sombra man -- was taken to CK police headquarters and later released with conditions and a future court date.

The second person -- a 42-year-old Sombra woman -- was arrested by OPP and released with a future court date in Chatham-Kent.

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
