LPH reports 27 COVID cases, two active outbreaks

Lambton Public Health reported fewer than 30 new cases of COVID-19 in the last four days.

Since Friday's report, the health unit recorded 27 lab confirmed infections for a total of 11,848 since the start of the pandemic.

The daily average number of cases over seven days has dropped to seven from nine last Friday.

The death toll is unchanged at 146 and there are two active community outbreaks.

There are eight COVID-positive patients at Bluewater Health, none in the ICU.

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
