Actor Ray Liotta dead at 67

Actor Ray Liotta, star of such classic films as "Goodfellas" and "Field of Dreams", has died.

Website Deadline.com reported Thursday that the actor died at the age of 67. According to the website, he was filming a movie called "Dangerous Waters" in the Dominican Republic. He reportedly died in his sleep.

Best known for his portrayal of gangster Henry Hill in the Martin Scorcese film "Goodfellas", Liotta appeared in over 80 films in his career. Liotta also played Shoeless Joe Jackson, a member of the infamous 1919 Chicago White Sox, in "Field of Dreams."

His other credits include "Cop Land", "Hannibal", and "The Many Saints of Newark".

He leaves behind a daughter, Karsen Liotta, from his first marriage to actress and producer Michelle Grace, and his fiance, Jacy Nittolo.
