Daily average COVID case count continues to drop

Lambton Public Health reported just over a dozen new cases of COVID-19 over the last two days.

Since Friday's report, the health unit recorded 14 lab confirmed infections.

The daily average number of cases over seven says has dropped to five.

Since the pandemic started over two years ago, there have been 11, 880 cases locally and 146 deaths.

There are five COVID-positive patients at Bluewater Health, none of whom are in the ICU.

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
