Vehicle stolen in Chatham 

Chatham-Kent police are asking for the public's assistance in tracking down a 2015 White Hyundai Tuscon stolen Friday from a driveway on Lorne Avenue.

Police said the vehicle was stolen at approximately 4:40 a.m. yesterday morning.

Anonymous callers may call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-TIPS (8477) and may be eligible for a cash reward.

Woman arrested after disturbance 

A 39-year-old Chatham man who was wanted on multiple warrants was arrested just after 6:30 Friday following a disturbance with another man.

Police said they learned that the female was wanted for mischief under $5,000, assault, and resisting arrest.

The 39-year-old was later released from custody with a future court date.

Woman arrested after traffic complaint in Wallaceburg 

A 37-year-old Wallaceburg woman wanted for an outstanding warrant was arrested Friday after a traffic complaint lead police to her vehicle stopped on McNaughton Avenue.

Police said they learned the female was wanted by the Sarnia Police Service.

The 37-year-old was arrested and taken into custody by Sarnia police.

New military crosswalk in Sarnia to be unveiled

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
