UPDATE: Power outage hits Bothwell

Power is restored following a large outage in Bothwell.

On Monday morning, Hydro One reported an outage affecting over 2,500 customers. According to the utility provider, the cause of the outage was a motor vehicle accident.

Chatham-Kent closed Base Line Road between Oakdale Road and Bear Creek Road for an investigation.

Entegrus also reported that a handful of Bothwell customers are without power, due to the Hydro One supply issue.

Power was restored around 2 p.m. Monday.

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
