Chatham-Kent police investigate a string of overnight thefts

Chatham-Kent police are appealing to the public for tips after a string of overnight thefts.

On Saturday, police were called to an address on Pinehurst Line for a theft complaint.

Police said that sometime overnight unknown suspects entered an unlocked vehicle and stole a wallet and leaf blower.

Police were called to another address on Pinehurst Line to investigate after a set of golf clubs worth $2,000 were stolen.

Anyone with information is asked to contact Constable Jayme O’Reilly at jaymeo@chatham-kent.ca.

Officers were also called to an address on Fargo Road in Blenheim after a laundry building was broken into.

Police said that sometime overnight suspects broke into the building and damaged a washing machine.

An unknown amount of Canadian Currency was also stolen.
