UPDATE: Hwy. 40 reopens after sudden death investigation

If you were driving on Highway 40 north of Chatham early Monday morning, Ontario Provincial Police would like to hear from you.

Police are still looking for tips from the public after a body was found on Highway 40 between Pine Line and Eberts Line.

Investigators are looking to speak to anyone who may have seen an individual walking along that stretch of the highway between 5:30 a.m. and 7:30 a.m. Monday.

The identity of the deceased is being withheld pending notification of next of kin.

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
