UPDATE: Fog advisory ends for Chatham, Windsor-Essex

Environment Canada has ended its fog advisory for Chatham-Kent and Windsor-Essex.

It issued the advisory Saturday morning, noting that near zero visibility is expected in some areas until conditions improve later on.

The national weather agency said travel is expected to be hazardous in some areas because of reduced visibility. In which case, drivers are reminded to reduce their speed, turn on the vehicle’s lights, and maintain a safe following distance.

More foggy conditions are expected again Sunday morning.
