Deer cull to temporarily close Rondeau Provincial Park

For the next three weekends, Rondeau Provincial Park will be closed to the public for half a day in order to thin the deer herd.

Members of the Delaware Nation at Moraviantown First Nation will be conducting a Deer Herd Reduction (DHR) in the park.

To keep the public safe, the park will be closed to the public during the DHR, from a half-hour before sunrise until 12 p.m. on November 19, 20, 26, 27, and December 3 and 4.

Access points to Rondeau will be monitored by staff from the Ministry of the Environment, Conservation and Parks, and public entry will be prohibited during the closure.
