Man arrested for failing to comply with probation order

A man was allegedly put on probation in June 2022 with a condition of not communicating with a particular woman.

At 10:15 a.m. on December 26, police say they responded to a complaint that the woman had received several emails and text messages from the accused. The police determined through an investigation that the man had breached the conditions of his probation order.

The 29-year-old suspect was located by police and held in custody pending a bail hearing.

Man arrested during traffic stop for outstanding warrants

At 11:56 a.m. on December 27, Chatham-Kent police conducted a traffic stop on Albert Street in Wallaceburg. A passenger in the vehicle was allegedly known to police, and wanted on two outstanding warrants.

Police say a 34-year-old man was arrested and released with a future court date.

Man arrested for breaking release conditions

On December 25, Chatham-Kent peace officers were reportedly asked by a neighbouring police service to find and arrest a man for failing to comply with a communication condition on his release order.

The next day, the man was located and arrested, according to police. They say he was released from custody with a future court date.
