Unwanted person at Canada Post delivered to police headquarters

A 48-year-old Walpole Island man has been arrested after he paid the post office in Wallaceburg a visit even though he had been banned from going back there.

Chatham-Kent police said they found the man a short distance away from the Canada Post on Wellington Street while they were responding to a call about an unwanted person at the post office at around 2 p.m. Wednesday.

Police confirmed that one of his numerous release orders required him to stay away from that specific location, so he was arrested and taken into custody pending a bail hearing.
