UPDATE: Power is back on in northwest Chatham

Power should be back on for the Entegrus customers in Chatham who were affected by an early morning outage.

Entegrus said as of 10:50 a.m. Thursday, power had been restored to all of its customers and anyone who was still without power should report that by calling 1-866-804-7325.

The power provider first reported the outage in the city just before 6 a.m., but more than half of the affected area had their power restored by about 7:15 a.m.

Ridge Kids Daycare at St. Angela Merici school in Chatham and Tilbury Tots Daycare at Ecole St. Marie in Chatham were both closed because of the outage.

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
