Police investigate after suspects break into vacant apartment

Chatham-Kent police are investigating after a vacant apartment on Richmond Street was broken into sometime in the past week.

Anyone with information is asked to contact Constable Craig Zink at craigz@chatham-kent.ca. Anonymous callers may call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-TIPS (8477) and may be eligible for a cash reward.

Chatham woman arrested on outstanding warrant 

Chatham-Kent police has arrested a 28-year-old Chatham woman for an outstanding warrant.

Police said the woman was located by an officer on general patrol on Saturday at around 9:30 p.m.

She was arrested on the strength of her warrant and held in custody for a bail hearing.

New military crosswalk in Sarnia to be unveiled

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
