COVID outbreak at BWH over

A COVID-19 outbreak at Bluewater Health has ended.

The outbreak was declared on February 10 in the Cognitively Complex Continuing Care (CCCOG) unit.

According to Lambton Public Health's website, 14 patients tested positive for the virus, along with fewer than five staff members during the two week outbreak.

Patients and visitors to Bluewater Health are reminded to wear a mask when at the hospital, use hand sanitizer upon arrival and only two visitors are permitted at a time.

As of Monday, there were five COVID-positive patients at Bluewater Health.
