Gala a big success for the Children's Treatment Centre Foundation

The first annual Gala for the Kids was a huge success, with $350,000 raised for the Children's Treatment Centre Foundation of Chatham-Kent (CTC-CK).

A post made by the Foundation on social media said $250,000 of that was from a donation made by the Rotary Club of Chatham.

All of the money raised goes to the Butterfly Building campaign, to build a larger facility to accommodate more children. The Children's Treatment Centre currently serves one in five kids and youth in Chatham-Kent.

The black-tie event on Saturday, April 1 at the Chatham Armoury featured a high-end menu with appetizers and a three-course dinner by Chilled Cork.
