Police search for robbery convict on the run

There's a Canada-wide warrant out for a man serving a two-year and two-month sentence for bodily harm and robbery with violence, and he might be in the area.

Duante Labonte is known to frequent Windsor, Chatham, London, and the Greater Toronto Area.

Police describe 25-year-old Labonte as a black man who is 5'10" and 176 lbs with black hair and brown eyes.

He has many distinctive tattoos. On his left ring finger, he has one of a sword, the name "Kiara-Lynn," and the seal of Solomon on his left forearm, along with the Infinity symbol. On his right middle finger, there's a cross, and on his right arm, Labonte has a sleeve tattoo containing Chinese symbols, aliens, and a spaceship. He also has one of the Seal of King Solomon on his abdomen and Simpson cartoon characters on his right calf.

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
