Man arrested on a warrant allegedly found with drugs 

A 46-year-old man who had a warrant for his arrest after missing a court hearing was arrested Tuesday.

Chatham-Kent police say the accused was searched upon his arrest and an unspecified quantity of suspected fentanyl was found.

He was held in custody on the warrant and dealt an additional charge with possession under the Controlled Drug and Substances Act.

Woman with warrant held for bail 

On Wednesday, Chatham-Kent police located a 39-year-old woman with an outstanding warrant for failing to attend court.

As a result, he was taken into custody where she was held for a bail hearing.

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
