Woman arrested on several outstanding warrants 

The long arm of the law has caught up with a 20-year-old woman after an alleged disturbance in Wallaceburg.

Police said they were called to the area of Albert Street in Wallaceburg at around 8 p.m. on Saturday for reports of a disturbance.

When officers arrived, they located the woman and learned that she had several outstanding warrants for mischief, failing to attend court, and assault.

The 20-year-old was arrested and transported to police headquarters where she was held in custody pending a bail hearing.

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
