UPDATE: OPP locate man who approached girls on Lakeshore beach

Ontario Provincial Police have found the man who they say approached young girls in Lakeshore over the weekend.

Officers responded to two incidents on Sunday that apparently involved young females. Both were on West Beach in Belle River. No additional details have been provided.

Police wanted to talk with the man who may have interacted with the females. The second time he was spotted, police say he was driving a black sedan.

On Wednesday, police said they were able to identify the man through information provided from the public.

No charges have been laid at this time.

Police are thanking the public for their help in the matter.
