Wallaceburg pool set to reopen Monday

The Wallaceburg Sydenham Pool is set to reopen to the public after being temporarily closed for the summer.

A statement from the Municipality of Chatham-Kent said the pool will reopen on Monday, September 11, after being closed since July 31 for renovations to the entrance and change rooms.

“The Wallaceburg Sydenham Pool is an important community hub for recreation and fitness, and we are thrilled to be able to offer these renovations to our patrons," said Manager of Recreation and Community Engagement Amy Wadsworth. "We are excited to welcome everyone back to the pool and hope these improvements will enhance their experience."

CKRecreation’s swimming lessons will resume in Wallaceburg in October. Residents interested can now register at Chatham-Kent.ca/Recreation.

All recreational swimming programs will resume once the pool re-opens.

The recreational pool schedule is now also online with registration opening one week prior to the respective swim time.
