Tilbury man airlifted to hospital after serious crash

A serious crash that sent a 31-year-old Tilbury man to hospital with serious injuries is under investigation by Chatham-Kent police.

Police said a vehicle was travelling west on Gleeson Line east of Sloan Road in Tilbury when the driver lost control and the vehicle rolled over on Tuesday just after 5:15 p.m.

The man sustained very serious injuries and was transported to a local hospital, but later had to be airlifted by Ornge Air Ambulance to a Windsor hospital, according to police.

The Chatham-Kent Police Traffic Management Unit is investigating the collision.
