Ford Escape was stolen overnight

On Saturday morning, a black 2017 Ford Escape was stolen in the Michener Road area in Chatham. The exact time of the theft is unknown, but it occurred overnight.

The vehicle was last seen with the Ontario license plate CLDP 615.

Anyone with information is asked to contact Constable Manuela Carmona-Moreno at manuelac@chatham-kent.ca Anonymous callers may call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-TIPS (8477) and may be eligible for a cash reward.

Man Arrested for Bail Violations

While conducting a routine patrol in Tilbury, an officer noticed a 44-year-old man in the front yard of a residence. It was known that the man had been subject to court-issued release orders, including a condition forbidding him from being present at this address.

As a result of this violation, the Tilbury man was arrested and charged with failing to adhere to the release order.

He is pending a bail hearing.

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
