Golf for the Kids event brings in $76,000

The Children's Treatment Centre Foundation of Chatham Kent is celebrating another successful fundraising event.

The 7th Annual Golf for the Kids brought in $76,000 on Friday, September 8.

All of the money raised will go to support therapy and services for children and youth, including social work, therapeutic recreation, and music therapy.

"We are very grateful to the sponsors, golfers and volunteers who returned to support this fun event. Including our lead sponsor Intact Insurance and JMHI Insurance Group," said Mike Genge, Foundation President. "Funds raised from Golf for the Kids will go towards programming and services that our kids need and use every day.”

The event, which had a Highland Games theme, took place at Willow Ridge Golf & Country Club near Blenheim.
