Brothers charged for breaching court order

Chatham-Kent police have arrested a pair of brothers for disobeying a court order that said they weren't allowed to communicate with each other.

The brothers were found intoxicated at a bonfire in the Black Bridge area at 6 p.m. on Friday.

A 43-year-old man was charged with breaching a court order.

A 46-year-old man was charged with facilitating a breach.

Both were released on a future court date.

Man arrested for impaired driving following crash

A 28-year-old man was arrested Friday for driving under the influence of alcohol.

Police made the arrest just after 6 p.m., following a collision on Charing Cross Road.

The man was transported to police headquarters for breath tests.

After the testing, he was charged with impaired driving and having a blood alcohol level exceeding the legal limit.

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
