Maroons well represented at Top Prospects Game

Six players from the Chatham Maroons will be hitting the ice in Ayr on Wednesday, December 27.

They're participating in the Greater Ontario Junior Hockey League (GOJHL) Top Prospects game, which features the top 16 and 17-year-olds in the league.

Forwards Aiden Edwards and Josh Cleary will suit up for Team Shepley in game one at 4 p.m.

They'll face forwards Cale Marontate, Jacob Cloutier, and defenceman Tyler McGuire on Team Williams.

Defenceman Graydon Jones will play for Team Prang against Team Passero in game two at 7 p.m.

Both games will be played at the North Dumfries Community Complex.

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
