Police investigate pair of Chatham-Kent break-ins

Chatham-Kent police are investigating a pair of break and enters in the municipality.

Police said they were called to a business on Grand Avenue in Chatham yesterday afternoon after someone stole three laptops and some cash.

It happened sometime on Wednesday morning.

On Thursday, police were called to the area of Gore Road for a break and enter.

Police said a large quantity of power tools were stolen sometime over the past month.

Anyone with information regarding the break and enters is asked to contact the police.   Anonymous callers may call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-TIPS (8477) and may be eligible for a cash reward.

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
